reFOCUS is a meal replacement not just a protein shake. They are different categories. A meal replacement shake should have at minimum 250 calories per serving and supports replacing a meal while a protein shake is a supplement to a meal. Protein shakes lack essential vitamins and nutrients, fats, and carbohydrates of a well-balanced meal. A meal replacement is full of carbohydrates that curb or reduce the feeling of hunger. In the marketplace, brands generalize their protein shakes as meal replacements. Don’t be fooled. In addition, a meal replacement shake can be a protein shake if the calorie intake is managed. But not vice versa. A protein shake is not a meal replacement.
